Can’t get your horse to pay attention to you or “Engage” with you?
Having trouble getting your horse to focus on what you are requesting him/her to do?
Can’t get your horse to stand still to have his/her feet worked on by the farrier?
Does your horse exhibit “stage fright” at events?
Does your horse get hyper reactive at the sale or show?
Does your horse get overly excited or nervous when trailer loading or when first entering an event at a show or race?
Need to get your horse to relax during stall rest?
Engage will help your horse overcome his/her fear that stimulates these negative reactions and allow you and your horse to successfully accomplish these tasks and more when used correctly.
Engage is not a tranquilizer and will not sedate your horse in any way or interfere with your horse’s ability to perform. After receiving Engage your horse will remain fully alert and be more attentive to whatever you ask him or her to do. This may be allowing you to catch your horse in the middle of an open field or getting your horse to stand in a compliant manner for the farrier to responding in a more attentive and positive manner to your riding cues. Engage will not make an untrained horse immediately compliant to voice or other commands, proper handling and training is the only way to accomplish this objective. However, Engage will reduce the “stage fright” that can cause the horse to be hyper reactive to external stimuli so that your training becomes more effective.
Observations from multiple professional trainers indicate that even seasoned horses actually learn faster after receiving Engage. In most cases, the amount of Engage needed to help an individual horse focus on their task at hand can be reduced or even eliminated altogether after a relatively short time period.
Engage is available in paste or powder. When giving your horse Engage Paste or Powder on an empty stomach wait 60 – 90 minutes for full effect. When giving your horse Engage Paste or Powder mixed with feed wait approximately 120 minutes for full effect.
Engage can be given in preparation for a onetime event such as a farrier visit, training session or show or can be used on a daily basis when at sales or shows, for example. Once Engage is given and the time period for full effect has been achieved, wait at least 4 hours before giving additional Engage; when giving subsequent doses of Engage the amount given may be reduced in order to maintain desired effect.
NOTE: Engage is allowed in all equine discipline events. Engage contains only natural amino acids, minerals and vitamins at physiological dose levels. Always check with your association if you have any questions about the acceptable use of Engage during your show.
Full Dose = 2 tubes of paste
For the first use, give 2 tubes the night before competition, and then 2 tubes again 1 to 2 hours prior to competing.
